ABOUT THE HUT

The cozy Steinfeldalm offers a warm and welcoming retreat for families, friends, and small groups. This rustic mountain hut has been lovingly preserved, carrying the charm, simplicity, and gentle creakiness of traditional alpine life.

Inside, you’ll find everything you need for slow, peaceful days in the mountains — warm rooms, a spacious kitchen, and plenty of space to gather, rest, and reconnect.

Living Kitchen & Dining Area

The living kitchen is the heart of the hut.
A large, open space with:

  • a traditional wood-burning stove

  • a gas stove for easy cooking

  • a warm dining area where everyone can gather

  • rustic wooden interiors filled with natural light

This is where mornings begin with quiet coffee and golden mountain light, and evenings end with shared meals, stories, and laughter.

Sleeping Rooms

The hut comfortably accommodates 4–10 guests, with an optional loft for additional sleeping space.

Upstairs (Main House)

  • 2 double bedrooms (each sleeps 2)
    Warm, cozy, and perfect for couples or small families.

Barn Room (Old Stable Area)

  • 1 large room with 3 separate single beds
    Simple, quiet, and ideal for children, teenagers, or friends.

Living Room

  • 1 double sofa bed for extra guests

Optional Barn Loft

  • Open mattress loft for up to 2 additional guests
    Perfect for group stays or families with kids who love the adventurous feel of a loft.
